Bassett Island offers 5 primitive tent campsites as part of Power Island County Park, connected by a small isthmus. Sites are first-come, first-served with picnic tables, cooking grills, and campfire circles. Restrooms and potable water from a hand pump well are available on the island. Multiple trails, picnic areas, and beaches provide recreation. Access is by boat (6.5 miles from Clinch Park Marina or 3.5 miles from Bower's Harbor Marina) or ferry. Dedicated as a quiet nature preserve.
