Little Dune I Campsite is located in the Grand Island National Recreation Area within Hiawatha National Forest, Munising Ranger District. It is a hike-in site approximately 4 miles northeast of William's Landing, accessible by foot from the ferry landing. The site accommodates up to 4 people and 2 tents, with tent-only equipment permitted. Features include proximity to water, boardwalk access, and good shade.
