Simon B. Elliott State Park Campground

The 25-site Simon B. Elliott State Park Campground is located in the heart of Moshannon State Forest in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania. The entirely wooded 318-acre park features picturesque areas of swamp meadows and second-growth mixed hardwood and oak timber. The campground offers modern restrooms (no showers) and a sanitary dump station. Both tent and RV camping are accommodated, with pets permitted on all sites. Campsite #7 and the restroom facilities are ADA accessible. The campground is open from early May through October, with a maximum 14-day stay during summer season and a required 48-hour vacancy between stays. Six historic rustic cabins of Civilian Conservation Corps origin are available for year-round rental, each with private modern restrooms including showers. The park offers three miles of hiking trails and access to the Quehanna Trail system for backpacking.
