About this site
Carvolth is a designated motorized roadside campsite in Pinchot State Forest's Thornhurst Tract. The site is located on Carvolth Road off Pittston Road near Spring Brook, Pennsylvania, and is accessed behind a locked gate. Each site provides a fire ring, picnic table, and tent site with parking for two vehicles or one vehicle with travel trailer. Maximum trailer length is 20 feet. There are no developed facilities, modern conveniences, latrines, or drinking water on site. Full shade is available. Camping permits and reservations are required and can be made online or by calling 888-PA-PARKS. The site is open seasonally from late March through mid-December. Visitors must take all trash with them upon departure.
