Pinchot State Forest Site 003 Sassafras Hill in the Thornhurst loop. Large site suitable for groups with expansive night sky views and minimal shade. Access behind locked gate (combination provided upon reservation); continue past log landing to barricade and signed site. Reservable through Pennsylvania state forest system. Can be difficult to access in winter. Site closed November 21 to April 1 historically. Additional Info: Max RV Length: 40ft Driveway Length: 100ft Firepit: No Drive-in parking next to site available.
