About this site
Hickory Run State Park Campground features more than 300 tent, trailer, and RV sites, a few walk-in sites, and camping cottages. Some campsites are ADA accessible. Facilities include modern restrooms with flush toilets and warm showers, drinking water, sanitary dump station, camp store with firewood, ice, and supplies, picnic tables, fire rings, playgrounds, and amphitheater. Many sites have electric hookups; some offer full hookups (sewer, water, electricity). Pets are allowed. The campground is open mid-April through mid-October for modern facilities, with rustic camping until mid-December. Additional Info: Each campsite has a picnic table, fire ring, and grill. Trails like Shades of Death and Beach are accessible directly from the campground. Sand Spring Lake offers swimming, disc golf, and picnicking.
