Feldtmann Lake Campground
About this site
Feldtmann Lake Campground is located on the southwest end of Isle Royale National Park, accessible only by foot via approximately 7-mile hike on Feldtmann Lake Trail from Windigo or Feldtmann Ridge Trail. Isle Royale is reached by ferry from Houghton or Copper Harbor, Michigan, or Grand Portage, Minnesota, or by seaplane from Houghton. The campground has 7 sites: 5 first-come first-served individual tent sites and 2 group sites requiring advance reservation for parties of 7 or more. Seasonal composting toilets and non-potable water (treat before use) available. No campfires permitted; cooking on self-contained stoves only. Pets not allowed. Additional Info: Stay limit of 2 nights from June 1 to Labor Day. No vehicle access.
