An International Dark Sky Park - Cherry Springs has some of the darkest skies in the eastern US! There are two campgrounds here: the rustic campground and the overnight astronomy field. The rustic campground is more of a traditional campsite, and the overnight astronomy field is for astronomy enthusiasts, with strict rules on how much light you can use at night.
