Additional Info: An 8-hour hike on the Puu Ki Waialae Trail leads to an open grassy area next to Waialae Stream in the Na Pali-Kona Forest Reserve/Alakai Wilderness Preserve. The site offers a small picnic shelter and a composting toilet. Preferred access is by horseback due to hike length. Not accessible during stormy weather or heavy rain due to flash flood risk on stream crossings.
