Upper Buck Creek Campground
About this site
Upper Buck Creek is your destination for rustic seclusion in a high mountain setting. Located 30 minutes southwest of Silver Lake, Oregon, ponderosa, lodgepole pine trees, aspen, and willows co-exist with open meadows and marsh land. This quiet forest camp is a great place to relax, fish, walk along the creek, and enjoy nature. Upper Buck Creek features five campsites with fire rings, and one vault toilet. There are no garbage receptacles, so remember to "pack it in, pack it out." There is no potable water. Visitors need to pack plenty of water. Additional Info: Open year-round with reduced services from October 16 through May 14. First-come, first-served with no fees or reservations. Vehicles must park at least 200 feet from creek edge.
