Stovepipe Wells Campground is a first-come, first-served campground located in Death Valley National Park at sea level, approximately 24 miles west of Furnace Creek on CA190. The campground features 190 campsites, primarily designed for RVs and trailers, with approximately 14 sites offering full hookups (electric, water, and sewer). Tent camping is also available. The site is essentially a large gravel parking lot with designated sites, fire rings, and picnic tables. Amenities include potable water, flush toilets, RV dump station, and firewood. Maximum vehicle length is 40 feet. The campground is adjacent to Stovepipe Wells Village, which offers a general store, gas station, hotel with shower passes, restaurant/bar, and pool. Cell service is fair in the area. The campground is open seasonally from approximately mid-October through mid-April. Fee is paid at the pay station at the front of the campground.
