About this site

Mule Mountain LTVA is a Bureau of Land Management Long Term Visitor Area located in Riverside County, California. The area consists of two designated campgrounds: Wiley's Well and Coon Hollow. Camping is allowed April 16 - September 14 at no cost with a 14-day limit. A permit is required September 15 - April 15 for long-term use. The site offers open desert camping with minimal facilities. Campers must be 100% self-contained for waste and gray water. Vault toilets, water faucets, and dump stations are available. All camping units must remain mobile, and rigs should be parked no more than 15 feet from other dwelling units. No rig or campsite should be left unoccupied for more than five days without BLM permission.
