Sites include a picnicking area and fire ring, with access to restrooms. Available April through October; advance reservations required. Additional Info: Located within the 628-acre Smallwood State Park on Mattawoman Creek, a tributary of the Potomac River. The park offers a marina, boat ramps, picnic areas, playgrounds, nature trails, and the historic Smallwood's Retreat house.
