Manor Area Campground
About this site
Manor Area Campground is the smaller of two camping areas within Cunningham Falls State Park, offering 31 campsites (M1-M31) in a more secluded, wooded setting off Route 15, three miles south of Thurmont. It provides 21 basic sites and 10 sites with electric hookups, accommodating RVs and trailers up to 30 feet. Each site has a picnic table and grill. A central bathhouse offers hot showers and flush toilets during the main season (April-October). Nearby attractions include the Scales and Tales Aviary, Catoctin Iron Furnace ruins, hiking trails, and Big Hunting Creek for trout fishing. Reservations are required during peak season; firewood available for purchase; pets welcome.
