Slip Bluff County Park

Slip Bluff County Park is a picturesque 400-acre park located in Davis City, Decatur County, Iowa. The park offers a well-shaded campground with both tent and semi-modern electric sites available on a first-come, first-served basis. The 16-acre lake provides excellent fishing for Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Crappie, Catfish, and Walleye (electric motors only; no swimming). The park features approximately 2.5 miles of hiking trails, a modern shower house with showers and flushable toilets, pit toilets, potable water, playground, and picnic facilities. Two larger shelters are available for reservation. The park is currently undergoing restoration to return to its Oak Savanna roots and offers excellent bird watching opportunities. Hunting is permitted on the east end of the park. Camping fees are $15 for non-electric sites and $20 for electric sites.
