Shasta Lake Shoreline camping areas in Shasta-Trinity National Forest offer free dispersed shoreline camping accessible by vehicle. Sites are pack-in pack-out with no potable water. Portable restrooms and trash receptacles are seasonally available at some areas from March 1 - October 31. A valid California campfire permit is required during fire season. Camping may be subject to seasonal closures and fire restrictions.
