Sawmill Campground is located just inside the border of Sinks Canyon State Park, approximately 6 miles from the town of Lander, Wyoming. It offers 5 campsites suitable for campers or tents, including one fully ADA accessible site. The area features a large day use picnic shelter available on a first come first served basis, picnic tables, fire rings, drinking water, and phone service. It supports drive-in access with sites accommodating RVs up to 20-40 feet. The campground is primarily a day use area surrounded by rocky terrain and dense forest, with nearby attractions like Popo Agie Falls and the Sinks and Rise geological formations. Additional Info: Open year-round with reservations available up to 6 months in advance via state park system. Base nightly rate starts at $10. Amenities include restrooms and playground.
