Reynold Shelter Camping Area is located on the northwest corner of the Boulder Creek Wilderness Area. The Reynolds Shelter was rebuilt in 2022, after it was burned down due to human error. The shelter is located on the south side of the road. There are no garbage services at this camping site, please be prepared to pack out your trash. Additional Info: Reynolds Shelter is a three-sided Adirondack-style shelter in the Boulder Creek Wilderness, accessible only by hiking the Reynolds Creek Trail (approximately 4.5 miles from the trailhead). No fees or permits required. No toilets, water, or garbage services available. Pack out all trash. Fires may be allowed in designated rings if conditions permit; check current restrictions.
