Primitive Campsite accessible only by 4WD High Clearance Vehicle Additional Info: Onion Valley Reservoir is located near Denio, Nevada in the Pine Forest Recreation Area, surrounded by rugged terrain. Access is via State Route 140 south from Denio Junction for 14 miles, then 14 miles west on dirt road. Extremely primitive with no developed facilities such as restrooms, running water, or trash service.
