Squirrel Springs Campsites
About this site
Squirrel Springs Campsites (formerly Snake Creek Road Primitive Campground) is located on the southeastern side of Great Basin National Park along NF-448 / Snake Creek Road. The camping area has approximately 12 designated campsites, all first-come, first-served. High clearance vehicles are recommended for the rough dirt roads; RVs and trailers are not recommended. Each campsite accommodates up to 8 people, 3 tents, and 2 vehicles. Amenities include picnic tables and fire rings at each site. The area is dry camping with no water available—bring your own water. Cell service is not available. Generators are permitted 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Maximum continuous stay is 14 days. Checkout is noon. Backcountry camping regulations apply; tents must be placed within 30 feet of the site's picnic table and/or fire ring.
