NETTLE SPRINGS (Campground) Additional Info: Nettle Springs Campground is a primitive, free, first-come first-served campground with 8-9 sites in the Mt. Pinos Ranger District of Los Padres National Forest. Located at 4,450 feet elevation just outside the Chumash Wilderness, it offers vault toilets, fire pits, and access to OHV trails and hiking. No potable water or hookups available; bring your own water. Popular for hunters and accessible by passenger vehicles and small RVs via dirt road.
