Keller Peak Yellow Post Site #6 is one of nine individual free campsites in San Bernardino National Forest along Keller Peak Road (Forest Road 1N96), available first-come, first-served with no reservations. Each site accommodates a maximum of 8 people and 2 vehicles, with very limited space. Amenities include 1 picnic table and 1 fire ring per site. There are no restroom facilities, drinking water, showers, dump stations, or hookups. Pack it in, pack it out. The road is paved but narrow, not recommended for trailers or large RVs; small trailers under 20ft may fit. Maximum stay is 14 days. Sites typically close in winter due to snow. Additional Info: Sites are near Children's Forest Visitor Center, Exploration Trail, and Keller Peak Fire Lookout. Campfire permit required. Horses allowed with restrictions.
