Developed campground next to Mosquito lakes, popular for fishing and access to trails. Please practice Leave No Trace and Pack it in, Pack it out principles. Additional Info: 11 first-come first-served sites with picnic tables and fire rings. Vault toilets available. No drinking water or garbage service. Small RVs and camper vans suitable. Located on Highway 4, 6-8 miles east of Lake Alpine at ~8,000 ft elevation. Inaccessible when Highway 4 is closed (typically winter). Fee $20 per night in 2026; Interagency Senior/Access passes honored for 50% discount on single site.
