Lime Creek Area is a 45-acre Buchanan County park campground located just north of Brandon, Iowa. The park features a peaceful campground with both modern and primitive camping options. Electrical hookups are available at some sites. Amenities include a playground, shelter house with electricity, vault toilets, and drinking water. Camping fees are $10/night without electricity or $15/night with electricity. No reservations are taken; camping is first-come, first-served. The park is situated near the Cedar Valley Trail, a 52-mile bike trail, and Koutny Pond, the largest public fishing lake in Buchanan County. Additional recreational opportunities include stream fishing, hunting, and nature appreciation.
