Kings Mountain State Park offers 115 standard campsites for RVs and tents. Each site is packed gravel with individual water and electrical hookups. Several sites accommodate RVs up to 40 feet. The campground has restroom facilities with hot showers and a dump station. There are 6 designated tent sites (H1-H6) with central water, some with shelters and electricity, all with picnic tables, fire rings, and grills. 15 equestrian campsites available by reservation with electrical service, corrals, picnic tables, fire rings, centralized water, and privy toilets. Primitive group camping by reservation through the park. Additional Info: Park encompasses 6,883 acres adjacent to Kings Mountain National Military Park. Activities include hiking trails, equestrian trails, fishing, canoe rentals, and picnicking.

It’s fine. Tents sites are packed in with campers which isn’t great. People don’t respect quite hours and bathrooms are less than desirable. Giving it a 3 is generous.
