Free, first-come-first-served dispersed camping on BLM land south of Joshua Tree National Park near Cottonwood Springs Road. No facilities available: no restrooms, water, or trash collection. Camping is allowed except within 300 feet of roadways. Vehicle access via Cottonwood Springs Road. Big rig friendly with numerous large spots available. Campfires require a permit from BLM offices. All vegetation is protected by law. Campers must be self-sufficient and pack out all trash.
