Hennepin Canal Lock 6 Campground offers class C primitive camping on the north bank of the canal east of Lock 6. The campground features well-maintained campsites with picnic tables, vault toilets, and fire pits. Camping is first-come, first-served at $8.00 per family per night. No hookups, showers, or electricity are available. Drinking water is not available at the campsite; the nearest water source is at the main visitor center. Dogs are allowed. The site is accessible by vehicle and is part of the 155-mile Hennepin Canal trail system offering hiking, biking, and fishing opportunities.
