Shabbona Lake State Park Campground

Shabbona Lake State Park Campground is a semi-wooded area with 150 Class A sites with electricity, showers, vehicular access, boat launch, playground, kid's fishing area, and The Camp Store. Each campsite has a gravel parking space, picnic table, and a campfire ring. The park features 1,550 acres of rolling prairie and a 318.8-acre man-made fishing lake. Facilities include a sanitary dump station and shower building with flush toilets. All facilities are handicapped accessible. Reservations are accepted for certain sites; 60 campsites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Two rent-a-camp cabins are available May 1 - October 31 annually. Alcohol is prohibited. One family per campsite or four unrelated adults with up to two tents are allowed. Campers must be ready to camp upon arrival with a camp shelter set up.
