Deer Ridge Campground is a well-shaded Class A facility in Ferne Clyffe State Park offering gravel pads with electricity, picnic tables, and cooking grills. The campground features drinking water, showers, flush toilets, and a sanitary dump station. Located in the heart of Shawnee National Forest, the area is surrounded by striking rock formations, plentiful fishing, miles of hiking trails, and flowing waterfalls. The campground offers 50 well-shaded campsites with three ponds, a playground, and horse trails. A 6-bedroom lodge is available for rent. Primitive camping is also provided. Nearby attractions include Jackson Falls, Garden of the Gods, and Bell Smith Springs.
