Halvorson Park is a 10.6-acre county park located 1.5 miles south of St. Ansgar, Iowa along the Cedar River. The park features approximately 50 non-designated campsites with electrical hookups (50, 30, and 20 amp service), water access, and a dump station. Modern shower and toilet facilities are available. The park offers boat ramps and docks for river access, a swimming beach, playground equipment, and picnic shelters. Campers must self-register at the entrance. The park is open May 15 through October 15.
