Gunflint Lake Site 5 is one of six remote campsites on Gunflint Lake in Superior National Forest, accessible only by boat from the boat ramp at the south end of the lake. These sites are within the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness entry points and require a permit for certain access points. Pack out all garbage, use only provided facilities for fires and tents, and observe the nine-person limit per site. Additional Info: Dispersed backcountry camping with no vehicle access.
