Grasshopper Trail Camp is the most remote trail camp in Humboldt Redwoods State Park, located next to upper Bull Creek at 2200 feet elevation, about 6.5 miles from the intersection of Mattole Road and Grasshopper Multi-Use Trail. It offers nice views and is intended for backpackers. Amenities include untreated water, vault toilet, and bear locker. No picnic tables, no open fires, and pets are not allowed. Additional Info: This quiet, remote backpacking camp is conveniently located just below Grasshopper Peak.
