There are plenty of awesome sites around George Lake to choose from - just be sure to follow the permit guides of distance from the water and being far enough off trail. You’ll need a backpacking permit to camp here. It’s a great beginners backpack trip because the hike in of ~5 miles is not too strenuous and you’re rewarded with many incredible views along the way! Plenty of trout to be caught as well.
