George Ke’a Mahoe Jr. Campground is located within Waimānalo Beach Park, a City and County of Honolulu beach park on Oahu's southeastern coast along Kalaniana’ole Highway. The shaded camping area under ironwood trees (Sherwood Forest) provides a short walk to the beach. Facilities include public restrooms, outdoor beach showers, picnic tables, grassy areas, free parking, direct beach access, lifeguards during the day, and one ADA accessible campsite. No electrical hookups or shared kitchen. Tent camping only; no sleeping in vehicles or campfires. Permits required from City and County of Honolulu: 3-day (Fri-Mon 8am) $32.75, 5-day (Fri-Wed 8am) $53.22, covering up to 10 people, 2 tents, 3 vehicles. No camping Wed/Thu. Permits non-transferable/non-refundable; printed copy required. Obtain online at camping.honolulu.gov (available 2 Fridays prior at 5pm HST) or in-person at Fasi Municipal Building.
