This small park located along Spring Creek is operated by Tom Green County as a destination for picnics and camping. Named for G.E. Foster, one of the first commissioners in the county. Most of the camping is found along the north side of the creek. There are no designated campsites, you just pick out a location and set up camp. Additional Info: Tom Green County parks have a 3-night maximum stay unless approved by Commissioner's Court. Reservations required through REC1 system. Conflicting reports on fees: some sources indicate free primitive camping, others list $6/day for residents and $12/day for non-residents.
