Grapevine Hills primitive roadside campsites (GH-2, GH-3) are located along the gravel Grapevine Hills Road in Big Bend National Park, beginning 3.3 miles west of Panther Junction. GH-2 is at 3.8 miles down the road; GH-3 is at the end of the road (7.7 miles). These sites offer views, solitude, and small flat gravel spaces next to the vehicle. No shade, toilets, water, or other amenities. Generators prohibited. GH-3 accommodates 2 vehicles, 6 people, max vehicle length 25 feet, no trailers; requires high clearance vehicle due to rough road. Nearby Grapevine Hills Trail leads to Balanced Rock.
