Douglas City Campground offers camping opportunities along the Wild and Scenic Trinity River in Trinity County, CA. The campground has 24 sites, flush toilets, hot showers, and easy access to the Trinity River. Campers can enjoy small beaches along the river for swimming, fishing, or paddling. The campground is nearby to many other recreational experiences in Trinity County - lakes, trails, wilderness, whitewater rafting, and more. Camp on the edge of the Trinity River in one of 24 tent/trailer campsites. No electric, water, or sewer hookups are available. Potable water, flush toilets, and hot showers are available. Campsites have picnic tables, fire rings, and bear boxes. A small beach and day use area are found within the campground. A campground host is generally on site. Additional Info: BLM-managed campground with 23-24 sites for tents and trailers/RVs up to 42 feet. Dogs must be kept on leash. Campfires allowed in fire rings per BLM restrictions. Obtain free CALFire Campfire Permit. Seasonal, typically opens early May.
