Joshua Tree North Dispersed Camping Area

Joshua Tree North BLM is a free, dispersed camping area on Bureau of Land Management land located just north of Joshua Tree, California. The area features wide-open desert terrain with no designated sites, allowing campers to set up wherever they choose. There are no facilities available, including no water, restrooms, showers, or dump stations. Campers must pack in and pack out all trash and waste. The area is vehicle-accessible and suitable for both tent and RV camping. Nearby Joshua Tree National Park offers hiking and sightseeing opportunities. A family-run campground in the area provides dump station and water fill-up services for a small fee.
