About this site
This wooded campground is located above the National Elk Refuge and a quick walk from your campsite will reward you with amazing views of the Refuge and the Teton mountain range. Hiking and horseback riding are all easy to achieve just minutes from the campground. Additional Info: 12 first-come, first-served sites. Vault toilets, drinking water (may be seasonal), picnic tables, fire rings, and bear-proof food storage available. Campground typically open mid-May to mid-September. Two vehicle limit per site. Elevation over 7,000 feet. Rough gravel access road recommends high-clearance vehicles.
