Crooked River Campground is located within the Croom Tract of Withlacoochee State Forest (Hernando County), on the shore of Silver Lake, which is part of the Withlacoochee River system. This campground is part of the Silver Lake Recreation Complex. Tent camping only with water at each site, picnic table, and fire ring with grate. No generators allowed. Access to bathhouse, boat ramp, hiking trails including the Withlacoochee State Trail, river for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. Horseshoe pit and day use pavilion available.
