Cherry Creek State Park Campground is located in Aurora, Colorado, approximately 15 miles from downtown Denver. The campground offers 139 campsites spread across several loops, with most being full hook-up RV sites and approximately 30 sites without hook-ups suitable for tents or smaller RVs. Full hook-up and tent campsites are available year-round. The campground features modern amenities including shower and laundry facilities, a dump station, firewood for purchase, ADA-accessible campsites, level parking areas with concrete pads, picnic tables, and fire rings at every site. A group campground with outdoor amphitheater is available for gatherings. The surrounding 4,200-acre state park offers an 880-acre reservoir with swimming beach, marina with boat rentals, hiking trails, biking trails, horseback riding, shooting center, and model airplane field.
