Thunder Lake backcountry campsite in Rocky Mountain National Park's Wild Basin. Accessed by approximately 7-mile hike with 2100 feet elevation gain from Wild Basin Trailhead. Individual and group sites in forested area west of trail; stock site south of trail east of lake. Campfires prohibited; use portable stoves only. Bear-resistant food storage required April 1 through October 31. Requires wilderness permit.
