Caribou-Munroes Island Provincial Park is located 11 kilometers north of Pictou, Nova Scotia, close to the PEI ferry terminal. The park features a mile-long sand beach with some of the warmest saltwater swimming north of the Carolinas. The campground offers 97 campsites: 49 unserviced sites with parking, campfire ring/grill, and picnic table; 42 serviced sites with two-way hookup (30 amp electrical service and drinking water); and 6 walk-in wooded sites. Facilities include park office, restrooms with showers, and wheelchair accessibility. Hiking trails along the shore lead to Munroes Island. Activities include bird watching, canoeing, kayaking, and beach recreation. Wi-Fi is available at the park office. Leashed pets are permitted. The park operates seasonally from June 5 to October 12.
