Hideaway Campground & Oyster Market is located at the halfway point on the Cabot Trail, on the boundary of Cape Breton Highlands National Park in South Harbour, offering magnificent mountain and ocean views. The campground features 80 sites including 25 electric/water/sewer sites, 11 electric/water sites, 36 unserviced sites, 7 camping cabins, 2 glam tents, and on-site trailer rental. All sites are private with about 1000 square feet, each including a fire pit with grill and picnic table. Amenities include flush toilets, showers, dishwashing station, coin laundry, playground, horseshoe pits, picnic shelter, recreation hall, and hiking trail to Aspy River. Season runs June 13 to October 13.
