Bear Branch Horse Campground offers eight rustic cabins and tent camping in the heart of southern Illinois near Shawnee National Forest. Seven cabins feature bathrooms, running water, sinks, beds, and electric service; one primitive cabin has no bathroom or water. All guests must provide their own bedding and towels. The campground welcomes pets and offers guided horseback riding tours and access to hiking trails. Ideal for scout groups, families, and couples.
