Camp Hauberg

Camp Hauberg is situated on the banks of the Mighty Mississippi River on a wooded 40-acre parcel, 2 miles north of Port Byron, Illinois. Originally a YMCA summer camp from the 1930s to the late 1960s, it has been transformed into a campground accommodating both primitive tent campers and RV enthusiasts. The campground features spacious, shaded campsites with 30 amp electric service and water hookups. Amenities include a dump station, fire rings, river fishing and boating access, bicycle trails, horseshoes, basketball court, playground equipment, and a modern shower house. Historic lodges are also available for rent.
