Anthony Chabot Family Campground is a year-round getaway located approximately 1.5 miles above Lake Chabot in Castro Valley, California, within Anthony Chabot Regional Park. The campground features 75 campsites: 53 drive-to tent campsites, 10 walk-to tent campsites, and 12 RV/trailer campsites with full hookups (water, sewer, 30 amp electric). All sites have picnic tables and fire rings with grills. Restrooms include hot showers. Firewood and charcoal available for purchase. Access to hiking, mountain biking trails, and nearby Lake Chabot fishing. Campground gates lock 8am-10pm (April-October); closed seasonally November-March. Reservations via ReserveAmerica or 1-888-EBPARKS. Additional Info: RV sewage disposal station available ($20 for non-campers). Evening campfire programs in summer. No day use parking in campground.
