Alger Creek Camp is a single-site backpacking camp in San Gorgonio Wilderness, located 3.7 miles from Momyer Creek Trailhead (1E06) at 7,100 feet elevation, about 0.25 miles below the trail along Alger Creek. Accessed via a moderate/difficult hike involving a creek crossing (no bridge, caution advised during high water). Wilderness permit required (free, online via recreation.gov). No ground fires; portable gas stoves only. Camp 100 feet from trails/water. Dogs on leash.
