One of 19 individual yellow post campsites along Forest Road 1N02 in San Bernardino National Forest, near Highway 38 between Barton Flats and Onyx Summit. First-come, first-serve, free camping with a 14-day limit. Maximum 8 persons and 2 vehicles per site. Site #4 is located in the easier-access section (sites 1-10) suitable for any vehicle including trailers and motorhomes. Amenities include picnic table and fire ring only; no restroom facilities or drinking water. Valid California Campfire Permit required for fire use. Open year-round, subject to fire use restrictions.
