ALDER CREEK (Camping Area) Additional Info: Large primitive camp at the junction of two creeks in a large shaded draw. Accessible by rutted forest road requiring high clearance or 4WD from Highway 1 via Willow Creek Road (23S01), approximately 8 miles. Located on the border of Silver Peak Wilderness near Buckeye Trail (5E09). Managed by USFS Los Padres National Forest, Monterey Ranger District.
